Professor Łukasz Ambroziak
Professor at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IERiGŻ PIB) in Warsaw
Professor Łukasz Ambroziak holds a habilitation degree in social sciences (economics and finance) and is a Professor in the Department of Agribusiness and Bioeconomy Economics at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IERiGŻ PIB). His research interests include competitiveness in agri-food trade, EU trade policy, value-added trade, and global value chains. He earned his doctorate at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in 2013 and his habilitation at IERiGŻ PIB in 2024. He has been affiliated with the institute since March 2013, having previously worked at the Market, Consumption and Business Cycles Research Institute and the Polish Economic Institute. He is the author or co-author of over 100 scientific publications, dozens of expert reports for government bodies and agri-food sector entities, and numerous popular-science articles. He lectures on postgraduate programs at IERiGŻ PIB and actively disseminates economic knowledge through X and LinkedIn.
